Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment and Jam Productions, Ltd. are proud to announce Summer Camp Music Festival is returning this Memorial Day Weekend to Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL. This will be the 14th Annual Summer Camp Music Festival. Taking place at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL (just 20 miles north of Peoria), the festival also features a kid’s camp, an extensive representation of non-profit organizations, on-site camping, lots of unique arts & craft artisans, a variety of good food and plenty of ice cold beer.

Gaining momentum in venues across Iowa and the Midwest, Des Moines’ Mighty Shady— Eric McCoy, Chris Freier, Jared Murphy, Joel Schwitchtenberg, and Keenan McBroom—were busy last summer playing national festivals including Wakarusa and 80/35 Music Festival, as well as a handful of regional festivals including Adventure Camp, Dangerfest, Briar Patch, Shwagstock, and Little Big Fest. And while these talented musicians find inspiration in the music of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sublime, their alt rock is original, seamlessly packing the dance floor with funky grooves. Mighty Shady has been dubbed "indie groove rock" by the locals here in Des Moines, and manages to tastefully combine reggae, rock, and psychedelic jams together in their live performances. Meaningful lyrics add depth to the dynamic group’s draw and have helped build a loyal fan base, one that is sure to explode in 2014 with the highly anticipated release of their first full length album
